Terms of Use

1. The service

TruckerPro provides a free public freight marketplace: search loads and available trucks, post freight or equipment with an approved company account, send carrier inquiries, and subscribe to lane email alerts. The Board is not the TruckerPro TMS, not a paid DAT/Loadlink seat, and not a freight brokerage unless we separately agree in writing to act as one.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be able to form a binding contract and use the Board for legitimate commercial freight activity.
• Poster accounts require an email address, a phone that can receive a WhatsApp verification code, company name, role, and country. Personal email accounts remain subject to the same company identity review.
• Authority information is role- and country-aware. Canadian carriers and brokers provide an applicable Canadian authority or registration; U.S. carriers provide USDOT and MC numbers; U.S. brokers provide an MC number. Shippers and other roles are not required to invent transport authority they do not hold.
• You must verify your email, verify your phone through WhatsApp, and pass company review before posting. WhatsApp verification applies to existing accounts as well. Submitted identifiers are format-checked and reviewed but are not a live government-registry verification or a TruckerPro endorsement.
• New company reviews require incorporation papers, a current certificate of insurance (COI), and a void cheque or direct deposit form. The incorporation name must match the profile; insurance and banking name differences are reviewed by an administrator. Only the COI requires an expiry date. Existing company approvals are retained.
• Keep credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts for abuse, false identity, spam, or policy violations.

3. Posting freight and equipment

• You may only post freight or equipment you are authorized to offer or represent.
• Every submission requires your affirmative confirmation that you are authorized to publish that specific listing publicly. We record the publication time, applicable terms version, publication context (including load source where applicable), and an operational audit event. That record does not replace consent you must obtain from a customer or other freight owner.
• The Board does not automatically import private TMS freight. Any future external publication path requires a separate, explicit per-listing opt-in.
• Listings must be accurate: lane, dates, equipment, weight, rate (if shown), and contact details. Do not post fabricated loads or equipment.
• By default, accepted postings go live immediately. If review mode is enabled on our servers, new posts may be held until published by an admin.
• Mark loads covered or remove them promptly when no longer available. Leaving phantom freight on a public board harms carriers who route trucks against it.
• Do not scrape, bulk-export, or republish other users’ postings without permission. Do not use the Board to build a competing feed by automated harvesting.
• We may expire, hide, or remove postings that are stale, abusive, or unlawful.
• Capability manage links are confidential and time-limited. Signed-in owners can continue managing their own listings after a link expires.

4. Searching, inquiries, and alerts

• Searching the Board and viewing listings require a signed-in account with a verified email.
• Company names and direct poster contacts are available only to signed-in, posting-eligible accounts with company approval and WhatsApp phone verification. On load listings, other signed-in accounts can use the inquiry relay without revealing the poster's direct address.
• Inquiries must be genuine interest in covering freight. Inquiry details are delivered to the poster; no spam, phishing, or marketing blasts through inquiry forms.
• Load alerts require a signed-in account with a verified email and are sent to that account's address. Unsubscribe anytime via the link we provide.
• Contact details on listings are for covering freight — not for unsolicited bulk marketing.

5. Sample freight

When there are few or no real open postings, we may show clearly labelled Sample listings so the page is not blank. Samples are illustrative only: not real, not bookable, and without contact details. You must not treat them as available freight or represent them as live market supply.

6. No guarantee of freight, rates, or counterparties

• We do not guarantee load volume, rate accuracy, equipment availability, or that any poster or carrier is creditworthy, insured, or authorized.
• Board rate figures are descriptive averages from open non-sample postings (when any exist) plus editorial guides — not a bid floor or market guarantee.
• You are solely responsible for contracts, insurance, permits, hours-of-service, customs, and payment terms with the other party. Confirm everything in writing before dispatch.
• Company review and authority-format checks reduce abuse but do not guarantee a counterparty's identity, active authority, insurance, safety status, or credit.

7. Acceptable use

You will not:

• Post illegal goods, stolen freight, or content that violates export/sanctions rules
• Impersonate another company or use someone else’s authority numbers
• Attack, overload, or probe the service; inject scripts; or attempt to access others’ manage tokens or accounts
• Circumvent rate limits, honeypots, or verification steps
• Use the Board to collect personal data for purposes unrelated to covering freight

8. Intellectual property

TruckerPro branding, site design, and editorial content are ours or our licensors’. You keep ownership of the posting content you submit, and grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it on the Board and in related notifications (including load alerts) for as long as needed to operate the service.

9. Third-party services and links

Links to truckerpro.ca, borderpro.ai, WhatsApp, Google Maps, or other sites are for convenience. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party sites.

10. Disclaimers

THE BOARD IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruckerPro and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost freight, deadhead miles, fuel, missed pickups, or business interruption arising from use of the Board or reliance on any listing. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Board is limited to CAD $100 or the amount you paid us for the Board in the prior twelve months (which is typically $0), whichever is greater.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify TruckerPro against claims arising from your postings, inquiries, account activity, or violation of these terms or applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Board at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or refuse service when we reasonably believe these terms or the law are being violated, or to protect users of the Board. Consent, security, moderation, and audit records may be retained after closure as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for future use. If you disagree, stop using the Board and request account closure.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Manitoba have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections that apply in your province.
