Is the TruckerPro load board free?
Yes. Searching the board and posting a load are free. There is no subscription fee and no per-search fee.
How do I post a load?
Create a free account (or sign in), open Post a Load, enter origin and destination, equipment, pickup date, rate if known (or call for rate), and confirm your contact details. New postings are held for a quick review, then go live. You can manage them from My Loads or the private manage link. Prefer not to use the form? WhatsApp or call TruckerPro and we can post for you.
Can I get email alerts for new loads?
Yes. Open Load Alerts, pick origin, destination and equipment (or Any), and confirm the email we send. When a matching load goes live you get a link to the listing. Unsubscribe anytime from the email footer.
Do I need an account to post a load?
Yes. A free account is required to post freight so you can manage your listings, mark loads covered, and keep contact details consistent. Searching the board and sending a carrier inquiry do not require an account.
How do carriers find loads?
Open the Load Board, filter by equipment, origin province/state, destination and city, then open a listing to call the poster or send an inquiry.
Are rates in Canadian dollars?
Posters enter rates in CAD on TruckerPro. Always confirm currency and fuel surcharge treatment before you dispatch, especially on cross-border freight.
What equipment types are supported?
Dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, power only, hotshot, lowboy, tanker, hopper and container are supported on post, filter and load alerts.
How do I remove a load after it is covered?
Use the private manage link you received when you posted, then choose Mark covered or Remove listing. Do not leave covered freight on the public board.
What is the Rate Index?
The Rate Index shows live average CAD rates and dollars-per-kilometre from open non-sample postings on the board, plus links to longer rate guides. It is context for pricing, not a bid guarantee.
Is this the same as Loadlink or DAT?
No. Loadlink and DAT are separate paid networks. TruckerPro is a free public Canadian board for posting and searching without a seat license. Many fleets use paid boards for density and a free board for overflow.
Do you show sample loads?
When there are no real open postings, clearly labelled sample loads may appear so the board is not blank. Samples are not bookable and carry no contact details. Real loads replace them as soon as someone posts live freight.
How is this related to TruckerPro TMS?
Same company. The TMS at truckerpro.ca handles dispatch, settlements, IFTA and operations. The load board at truckerspro.ca is the public freight marketplace. You can use the board without buying the TMS.
