Yes. Searching the board, posting a load, posting available equipment, and load alerts are free. There is no subscription fee and no per-search fee.
Create a free company account, verify your email and complete company verification with the authority details appropriate to your country and role. Then open Post a Load. Enter origin and destination, equipment, pickup date, rate if known (or call for rate), and contact phone. Listings go live immediately by default; if review mode is enabled on the server, they are held until published. Manage them from your dashboard, My Loads, or the private manage link.
Use a company-domain email, verify it, and complete the company profile and review. Canadian carriers and brokers provide a Canadian authority or registration number. U.S. carriers provide USDOT and MC; U.S. brokers provide MC. Shipper accounts do not require carrier authority. These are TruckerPro account requirements. Searching the board and sending an inquiry need a free signed-in account.
Yes. Verified company accounts can post equipment on the Trucks tab of the board (origin, destination, equipment, available date). Truck detail pages show matching open loads on the same province/state lane and equipment type.
Yes, with a free account. Sign in, open Load Alerts, pick origin, destination and equipment (or Any), and save. When a matching load goes live we email your account address a link to the listing. Unsubscribe anytime from the email footer.
Yes. A free company account is required to post freight or equipment so you can manage listings, mark loads covered, and keep contact details consistent. Searching the board and sending a carrier inquiry also need a free signed-in account.
Open the Load Board, use the Loads tab, filter by equipment, origin province/state, destination, city, pickup window and rate, then open a listing to call the poster or send an inquiry. Signed-in users can mark rows contacted while they work the board.
Posters can select CAD or USD and a total, per-kilometre or per-mile rate. Check the currency and rate basis shown on the load. Confirm currency and fuel surcharge treatment before you dispatch, especially on cross-border freight.
Dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, power only, hotshot, lowboy, tanker, hopper and container are supported on post, filter, trucks board and load alerts.
Use My Loads or the private manage link you received when you posted, then choose Mark covered or Remove listing. Do not leave covered freight on the public board.
Board rate averages show asking rates and dollars per kilometre from open non-sample postings on the board, plus links to longer rate guides. It is context for pricing, not a bid guarantee.
No. Loadlink and DAT are separate paid networks. TruckerPro is a free public Canadian board for posting and searching without a seat license. Many fleets use paid boards for density and a free board for overflow.
When there are no real open postings, clearly labelled sample loads may appear so the board is not blank. Samples are not bookable and carry no contact details. Real loads replace them as soon as someone posts live freight.
Same company, different product. The free load board is for public freight matching. TruckerPro load management at https://www.truckerpro.ca/load-management-software handles dispatch, settlements, invoicing, IFTA and fleet operations. You can use the board without buying operations software.
CBSA ACI and CBP ACE eManifest filing is separate from a load board. The board helps you find or post cross-border freight; use an authorized filing workflow for the required manifests.
